AEW star Mercedes Moné is one of the most decorated champions in pro wrestling at the moment. The star showed up in the United Kingdom for a huge title defence this weekend.

The CEO has been a prominent face in AEW after joining the company back in March 2024. He quickly started notching up World titles to the point where she was holding 13 belts at one point. Some of the most notable titles among them include the AEW TBS Championship, ROH Women’s TV Championship, CMLL Women’s World Championship, and more.

Moné was in the UK, making a major appearance for Revolution Pro wrestling at their Uprising 2025 event. She put the Undisputed British Women’s Championship against British wrestling sensation RHIO at the event. She had won this same title from Mina Shirakawa earlier this year and also had successful defences against the likes of Kanji, Safire Reed, and Emersyn Jayne. The match emanated from the Vale Arena in Cardiff, Wales. Other titles on the line included the Discovery Wrestling Women’s Championship and EWA Women’s Championship.

Mercedes Moné recently lost a championship

At ROH Final Battle this year, Red Velvet scored the biggest win of her career as she knocked off Mercedes Moné for the ROH Women’s TV Championship.

Despite dominating most of the match, Moné was handed the shocking defeat after Velvet reversed the Statement Maker attempt into a rope-assisted pin, ending the champ’s reign. This loss also snapped the CEO’s winning streak and brought her overall title count down to 12. Moné was distraught after the loss at Final Battle and even walked off from a verbal confrontation with Leila Grey.

This shocking upset came after Mercedes also failed to capture the AEW Women’s Championship from Kris Stantlander at Full Gear on November 22.

It will be interesting to see what lies ahead for the CEO in the coming months.
