There’s even more news from the Indianapolis Colts’ quarterback room.

The Colts have opened the 21-day practice window for Anthony Richardson, the team announced on Thursday.

Richardson was placed on injured reserve in Week 7 after suffering an orbital bone fracture in a freak accident during warmups the week prior.

While his orbital bone is fully healed, the 23-year-old still has some vision limitations in his eye.

Head coach Shane Steichen says that he will not be available for Monday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers, and the team will continue to manage the situation.

The 2023 fourth overall pick has appeared in just two games this season, completing one of two passes for nine yards.

With Daniel Jones currently on IR after suffering a season-ending Achilles injury and Riley Leonard out with a knee injury, 44-year-old Philip Rivers will be getting his second consecutive start on Monday.

Along with Richardson, the Colts have also opened the practice window for safety Daniel Scott, who last played in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Rams after suffering a knee injury.

He has two tackles on the season.
