The countdown is on to the 2025 MLB Fall Classic.

The Dodgers blew past the Yankees in the 2024 World Series, winning 4-1 to earn their second title in the past five years.

Here is what to know about the World Series oddsboard:

The Champion Dodgers: L.A. earned its first win of the season over Milwaukee in Game 1 of their NLCS series, after losing the regular-season series 6-0. Dodgers ace Blake Snell put together a masterful performance, striking out 10 across eight innings of one-hit baseball. He was magnificent. Still, the L.A. bullpen made things interesting, as now-closer Roki Sasaki gave up one run in the bottom of the ninth before Blake Treinen struck out Brice Turang with the bases loaded. Dodgers win, 2-1. Game 2 is set for Tuesday in Milwaukee.

The Challengers: Next on the board are the Mariners, who took a two-game lead over the Blue Jays in the ALCS. So far, Seattle has outscored the Blue Jays 13-4 across two games. This is Seattle’s first trip to the ALCS since it went in back-to-back years in 2000 and 2001. The franchise has never made it to the World Series. The Blue Jays opened Game 1 with a lead-off home run from George Springer, but did not score the rest of the evening. Game 2 is Monday in Toronto.
